Criteria
Since the first graduating class in 1934, Brentwood High School graduates have influenced society in one capacity or another, be it in the arts, athletics, government service, military service, the professions, or volunteer service. The Trustees attempt to identify alumni whose work has been distinctive in their field or who have made distinctive contributions to the community.
To Nominate
- Download the Nomination Form (pdf) and complete. Additionally, include relevant documentation for all of the categories below.
- Attach a resume/biography, complete with beginning and end dates, to detail:
- Education
- Employment history: candidate's roles, responsibilities, beginning and end dates for each position
- Awards and recognitions for job related accomplishments, or volunteer contributions
- An impact statement summarizing career or volunteer efforts in terms of affects on people, processes or an organization
- Professional publications and presentations
- Community service or non-profit activities, also with dates, roles and responsibilities
- Include letters of testimony from the nominator, peers or associates.
- Incomplete nominations will not be considered. The nominator will be contacted to supply substantive documentation. Those resubmissions will be filed for future review.
